I'd be delighted to visit your school, library or classroom virtually or in-person. My classroom visits can focus on units dealing with maps, writing from primary sources, or discovering local histories. My writing workshops for grades 2-5 are sure to be fun, engaging and inspiring to young creatives. My author presentation focused on my novel for young readers, MAMA’S CHICKEN & DUMPLINGS, will include an interactive audience discussion focused on historical fiction being a blend of both fact and fiction, a lively reading from my book, and ample time for a Q&A. I'm also available to speak to teachers who are interested in learning more about the kidlit publishing industry.
